We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo.. How about you, you, you???

It was the National Day long weekend and daddy and mummy brought me to the zoo for the first time! Mummy brought along the miniature animals toys along so that she could show me the differences and similarities between them and the real ones!
Here are some of the pictures we took.

When mummy was away

Mummy left us for a work trip to Sydney, Australia from 27 July to 3 August. This was the first time mummy was not with me for the longest time ever. We would go online to talk to mummy via the webcam every night. I missed mummy so much that I would walk to my xiao jiu jiu's room, point to his laptop and say 'ma ma' anytime during the day. I could hardly wait to see mummy.

When mummy learnt about this from po po, she was so touched and almost teared. She missed me even more and vowed not to leave me for such a long period of time again.

I am such a cheeky boy that even after a few days mummy was back, I would lead mummy to the room, point to the laptop and say 'ma ma'. I was trying to show off to mummy that I can still remember our mode of communication when she was not in Singapore.

Our Hong Kong Trip

Daddy, mummy and I travelled to Hong Kong for a 5 days 4 nights free & easy trip (with 1 day free city tour) to relax and unwind from their hectic work. The trip was really all about eating and shopping plus some sight-seeing. You may have thought that mummy was the invincible shopping queen who spent the most but daddy was the one who was crowned the King for he finally got his desired P**** bag! (Oops.. I mustn't reveal too much about daddy's indulgence)

Here are some random pictures:

Day 1

At Changi Airport T3 early in the morning waiting to board SQ860. See how sleepy I looked.

Transferring to the hotel once we touched down. See how happy I was playing in the clean, comfortable, contemporary furnished room. No qualms about choosing this hotel although it is situated slightly further in Sha Tin.

A demanding me, struggling to come down to get the ball. We spent the all afternoon and evening at New Town Plaza, a lively and one of the largest shopping venue in HK, which is connected to our hotel.

Day 2
Daddy & mummy decided to go for the free city tour to places that are more inaccessible. We went for a traditional dim sum breakfast, followed by Repulse Bay. We went past so many houses, villas and apartments belonging to the rich and famous!

Next was Aberdeen, we experienced the traditional fishing life by sailing on the fishing boat and we even saw the famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant.

After lunch, daddy and mummy chose not to follow the tour to Ngong Ping 360 but rather to shop at the Citygate Outlets. It is a shopping heaven for discounted international brands! You can check out my Daddy's loots from the Nike outlet store.

In the evening, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui area for the Symphony of Light but could not catch it in time as we were still having our dinner. Thus we just shopped along the famous Nathan Road belt. We even went into the historical The Peninsula. It is a hotel that exudes so much charm and sophistication.

Day 3
We headed to Central for the day and took the tram up to The Peak at around 5pm. We stayed at The Peak till night time and got to view the breathtaking, picturesque scenery of HK in day and night.

We would walk past these cute mascots for Yata Department Store when we made our way to the MTR station from our hotel.

We chanced upon St John's Cathedral while walking to the Peak Tram station and stopped by to have my milk and visit the interior thereafter.

Almost reaching the Peak Tram station

Reached!

Up we went!

We had dinner Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., a restaurant that commands stunning views. I was given some crayons and a colouring picture and I started to scribble at once. I was thrilled!

After dinner, we went up to the viewing deck! We managed to catch the Symphony of Light up above at The Peak but of course it is best to be viewed from the promenade at Tsim Sha Tsui.

No, we did not want to enter Madame Tussauds. However, it made no harm to take some shots with the two wax likenesses of Michelle Yeoh and Bruce Lee

Day 4
We spent the whole day and night at Mong Kok / Prince Edward area shopping till our legs and daddy and mummy's arms ached from carrying me.

Day 5
Spent the morning and afternoon doing last minute shopping and buying local delicacy at the hotel's vicinity and at New Town Plaza again. Daddy and mummy also brought me to see Snoopy, Charlie, Peanuts and their friends at Snoopy's Place which is within New Town Plaza before our flight back to Singapore in the evening.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that Mummy wished she could stay for another few days! However, she was also glad that I could finally go home for nutritious home-cooked porridge!

Events from January to June

No time for lengthy post of words. Mummy hereby uploaded tons of pictures which effectively tell the stories.
